Memories of Ice, by Steven Erikson
I just finished it this morning. Pretty damn good. Enjoyed it much more than Deadhouse Gates. Far better characters and a more interesting premise. I do hope there's more Rake and Brood story in the later books, though. And Tool, too.
Now I'm either going to start House of Chains, by Steven Erikson or Before They Are Hanged, by Joe Abercrombie. Haven't decided yet.

Finished:
Age of Assassins by R J Barker 3/5 for me. It took me awhile to get into it but it got better though still had some short comings.
The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie (audiobook) 5/5. Fantastic book that is even better when read by Stephen Pacey
Currently Reading:
The Hollow Boy by Jonathan Stroud, Book 3 of his Lockwood & Co series
Before They Are Hanged by Joe Abercrombie (audiobook)

The Mermaid's Sister, by Carrie Ann Noble - Started reading it on a train the other day and got about halfway. It is much better than I expected... and I don't think I've ever read a book where someone is turning into a mermaid.
Before They Are Hanged, by Joe Abercrombie - I'm 3/4 through it and I love it. I think this is one of the best series' I've read in a long time.

Last Argument of Kings, by Joe Abercrombie
I finished BTAH and immediately began LAoK. I really love this series. The characters are just awesome, the setting it gritty and it is very well written.
The Mermaid's Sister, by Carrie Anne Noble Reading this one during down time when travelling or at work, so it's slower going for what would normally be a pretty fast read.

Last week I finished listening to The Wicked King, by Holly Black, which I loved, and How to Train Your Dragon, by Cressida Cowell, which was very cute and surprisingly funny and narrated perfectly by David Tennant. I finished reading The Blade Itself, by Joe Abercrombie.
I started reading The City of Miracles, by Robert Jackson Bennett, and started listening to Before They Are Hanged, by Joe Abercrombie. I figured mixing it up for part of my re-read of The First Law Trilogy would be fun, and I'd heard that the narrator for the books was excellent (and he is).

Finished TBI and started the second book. I really liked the first book quite a bit. It's gritty fantasy and I found all of the characters very interesting. It kept me hooked the entire time, and I started the second one immediately upon finishing.
