Finished:
The Handmaid's Tale, by Margaret Atwood - I enjoyed this. Haven't seen the show, probably won't, but I tend to like dystopian stuff and this did a nice job.
Big Little Lies, by Liane Moriarty - I don't tend to read murder mystery stuff usually, but this was either recommended by someone or was a goodreads recommendation, so I checked it out. Rather funny, a very quick read, and I liked the idea of part of the murder mystery being the mystery to the reader of who was murdered.
Saga Volume 3, by Brian K. Vaughn - This series is just so damned good. It's probably a good thing that each volume tends to have a bit of a wait through overdrive because I have a feeling I'd be flying through this otherwise.
Started:
The Blade Itself, by Joe Abercrombie - This has been enjoyable so far, with a good amount of humor mixed in.

Finished Emperor's Soul, by Brandon Sanderson and The Last Wish by Andrzej Sapkowski.
Emperor's soul was a short and sweet one. The Last Wish was merely okay, I've only read it because I liked The Witcher games.
Started The Blade Itself, by Joe Abercrombie. I think I've read 2/3 of the book yesterday, so it's safe to assume it really pulled me in.

I finished Altered Carbon, by Richard K. Morgan I absolutely loved it. I was thoroughly entertained through the whole read. I'm definitely going to pick up the rest of the series.
I started The Blade Itself, by Joe Abercrombie I only finished the second chapter, but I really enjoy Abercrombie's writing style.

I am currently reading After the Golden Age by Carrie Vaughn and listening to The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie.
Last week I finished reading: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time which I gave 3/5 stars and King of Ashes by Raymond E Feist which I gave 4/5 stars.
I finished listening to Islam and the Future of Tolerance by Sam Harris and Maajid Nawaz which I have 3/5 stars.
This puts me at 39 books/audiobooks completed for the year.

Finished since last week:
The Blade Itself, by Joe Abercrombie - I liked the shifting through characters and how Glokta gets a little internal dialogue while no one else really does. Looking forward to the rest of these as the set up is really good so far.
The Adventures of Barry Ween, Boy Genius 1, by Judd Winick
The Adventures of Barry Ween, Boy Genius 2.0, by Judd Winick
The Adventures of Barry Ween, Boy Genius 3, by Judd Winick
The Adventures of Barry Ween, Boy Genius 4: Gorilla Warfare, by Judd Winick
These were all a reread and it had been a decade or so since the last time I read them. They're quite short (three comics each, as opposed to a lot of modern collections that will do 6 issues each), but they are still ridiculously funny and well written.
Saga, Volume 4, by Brian K. Vaughn This is so good. So incredibly good.
The Ghost Brigades, by John Scalzi I loved the first book, and while this is in the same universe and follows up on some aspects of the story it's more of another chapter in that universe than a direct sequel. That's fine and makes me want to read the next book or two as well, but it has its own characters and events that expand the universe and start painting with slightly broader strokes.
Currently reading:
Consider Phlebas, by Iain M. Banks Just started this and only got a couple chapters in, but the premise is quite interesting, and certainly haven't seen an opening chapter like that before.

The Blade Itself, by Joe Abercrombie
My local library has started a science fiction and fantasy book club, and this was their first selection. I've owned it for ages, but never read it, so I figured it was as good a time as any. I'm about 25% through, and I'm enjoying it so far. The most interesting character so far is Glokta, with Logen as a close second.

Finished:
Age of Assassins by R J Barker 3/5 for me. It took me awhile to get into it but it got better though still had some short comings.
The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie (audiobook) 5/5. Fantastic book that is even better when read by Stephen Pacey
Currently Reading:
The Hollow Boy by Jonathan Stroud, Book 3 of his Lockwood & Co series
Before They Are Hanged by Joe Abercrombie (audiobook)

I gave up on The Fifteen Lives of Harry August, by Claire North. It meandered for so long and though it was written in first person, the protagonist felt almost non-existant.
Started The Blade Itself, by Joe Abercrombie after I DNF Harry August. I only read two chapters so far of The Blade Itself, but the protagonist actually has more of personality in the first two chapters than Harry August did in the first 200 pages.

Last week I finished listening to The Wicked King, by Holly Black, which I loved, and How to Train Your Dragon, by Cressida Cowell, which was very cute and surprisingly funny and narrated perfectly by David Tennant. I finished reading The Blade Itself, by Joe Abercrombie.
I started reading The City of Miracles, by Robert Jackson Bennett, and started listening to Before They Are Hanged, by Joe Abercrombie. I figured mixing it up for part of my re-read of The First Law Trilogy would be fun, and I'd heard that the narrator for the books was excellent (and he is).

I've started The Blade Itself, by Joe Abercrombie on audiobook. It is my first audiobook and I really like it so far. It's nice to just listen while out for a walk, working or laying in bed. The book already has some interesting characters and I'm excited for whats to come.

Slow week for me as I got sick towards the end of the week so I finished one book:
After the Golden Age by Carrie Vaughn 3.5/5 for this one. It was not bad. The concept was interesting but missed the mark on a couple of points.
Currently reading:
Age of Assassins by R J Barker
The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie (audiobook)

I finished The Blade Itself, by Joe Abercrombie and started the sequel. I'm really enjoying his writing and I'm hoping to feel more invested in the characters in the second book.
I'm also reading The Pickwick Papers, by Charles Dickens. It's taken me a while to get used to his style again (it's probably been a year since I read anything by him) but now that I'm about halfway through I'm really enjoying it.

The Blade Itself, by Joe Abercrombie
Before They Are Hanged, by Joe Abercrombie
Finished TBI and started the second book. I really liked the first book quite a bit. It's gritty fantasy and I found all of the characters very interesting. It kept me hooked the entire time, and I started the second one immediately upon finishing.

Started The Blade Itself - Book 1 of The First Law by Joe Abercrombie. Couple of hundred pages in already and really liking it. I gave up on Wheel of Time recently and this is a fantastic change of pace. I think I prefer grimdark more than high fantasy lol.

Finished The Record of a Spaceborn Few, by Becky Chambers. A quick, easy, cozy read- exactly as expected and what I needed. I also finished listening to Nevernight, by Jay Kristoff, which was the exact opposite of cozy but still pretty entertaining. I'll probably listen to the next one but need a break first.
I started re-reading The Blade Itself, by Joe Abercrombie. I'm re-reading the whole trilogy in anticipation of A Little Hatred coming out later this year, but will probably read other stuff alongside.

Finished The Blade Itself and Before They Are Hanged, by Joe Abercrombie.
I'm halfway through Last Argument of Kings, and shit's hitting the fan.
!The Gurkish invasion has started and I'm starting the chapter where Logen duels the Feared!<
Lots of character development and enough plot to keep me interested. I don't think there was a single point in the books where I felt that it drags on, it kept me quite interested the whole time. That being said, almost everyone's an asshole and no good deed went unpunished. It's causing me not to care about most characters, since I don't give a shit if they die or not. I'll read the standalones later, since I want to read some book with at least some good likeable characters, to have someone to root for.

After a little break I finally finished a few books that I've been reading.
The Hero of Ages, by Sanderson great ending to the Mistborn trilogy, Sazed is the man.
The Blade Itself, by Abercrombie wonderful action and good characters. Ordered the second book and can't wait.
Blood Meridian by McCarthy I don't know how I feel about it, I adored the road, no country for old men and the border trilogy, but this one was odd for maybe it was the Spanish , but I couldn't get into it.
I started to read The Hobbit and will follow that with something from Discworld to cleanse the palate of those violent novels.
